Applying anywhere in Hiair — a single match in Copilot, or a batch from Autopilot — queues the application. Your paired computer is what actually fills it out.

Queue it, then it runs

Once an application is queued, it’s picked up one of two ways:
If you’ve run hiair service install, the worker is already listening. Queued applications start filling automatically — no terminal needed.

Several at once

Both the worker and hiair apply fill up to 4 applications in parallel by default, each in its own tab of the same HiAir Chrome window — so a batch queued from Autopilot finishes in a fraction of the time. Raise or lower that with --parallel:
The server hands out one application per company at a time, so parallelism is across different companies, not multiple applications to the same one.

When it needs you

If a form asks something your profile can’t answer, shows a captcha, sends a verification code, or wants you to sign in, that tab pauses with the page still open. You’ll get a desktop notification, and the terminal (or the device console) tells you what’s needed. Then either:
  • fix it in the browser and press Enter in the terminal,
  • press a and type the answer in the terminal — the agent types it into the form, or
  • press s if you already clicked Submit yourself.
You can also answer from the Hiair website — the worker notices and carries on. Other queued applications in different tabs keep working while one is paused.
If nothing happens for about 45 minutes, the run falls back to “Needs you” in your application tracker and the page closes.

Stopping a run

Closing a single tab stops that application; closing the whole HiAir Chrome window stops everything in flight. A stopped application shows as stopped in your tracker and its credit comes back. Ctrl-C in a foreground hiair apply does the same for whatever it was running.
